Inclusive Studio Shoot for Zebedee Talent Photographed by Kids Photographer, Tilly Nelson

I have wanted to work with Zebedee Talent for years now, and so when finally the opportunity presented itself I knew we had to make it happen. Zebedee’s purpose is to change the way disability, visible difference and gender identity are represented in fashion and wider media. After working at a clinic for kids with disabilities at the age of 18-20, I knew that working with disabled kids was a true passion (and actually a special gift) of mine.

We put so much time into planning this shoot. We knew that in order to pull off something that was full of joy and life and was a celebration of these kids, we’d have to set it up right. We chose a big accessible studio where the kids could move freely without damage. We went for big soft modifiers for the lighting so that we could shoot in a wide open space without having to worry that the kids were in the right spot or not. And most importantly I handpicked a team that had experience working with people with different needs.

I think these images speak for themselves, the kids enjoyed it, the parents trusted us, Zebedee Agency was thrilled and we all left knowing that we’d all created something that was special.
